Michael Rosenmeier

Chief Water Resources Scientist at RIZZO International, Inc.

Michael Rosenmeier, Ph.D. has had extensive work experience in the field of hydrogeology and water resources. Michael currently holds the position of Chief Water Resources Scientist at RIZZO International, where they have been since February 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Hydrogeology at RIZZO Associates from December 2016 to November 2017. Michael has also held various roles at the University of Pittsburgh, starting as a Visiting Lecturer in January 2003 and later becoming an Assistant Professor from August 2003 to August 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Florida from September 1997 to December 2002 and at the University of Minnesota Duluth from August 1995 to May 1997. Michael gained early research experience as a Laboratory and Field Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee's Physical Geography Laboratory from July 1992 to May 1995.

Michael Rosenmeier holds a Ph.D in Geological Sciences from the University of Florida, which they earned from 1997 to 2003. Before that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from 1990 to 1995. Prior to commencing their doctoral studies, they also pursued Geological Sciences at the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1995 to 1997, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution.
