Sophie Liardet

Sophie Liardet is a co-founder of Winchester Books Festival CIC, established in November 2022, which aims to promote literature and reading within the Winchester community by connecting residents and students with bestselling and emerging authors. With extensive experience in the publishing industry, Sophie has been involved with Rizzoli International Publications since February 2001, focusing on UK publicity and events. Prior to this, Sophie held various roles at HarperCollins Publishers between 1991 and 1998, including Marketing and Publicity Manager and Sales and Marketing Coordinator in both New York and international capacities. Sophie holds a BA in English from the University of Nottingham and was educated at The Lady Eleanor Holles School.
