Karin B.

Karin B. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 1999, they worked as an Assistant Director/Community Research & Service Center Coordinator for the Community Outreach Partnership Center. Karin then held positions as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Indiana University NW and as a Senior Data Architect at Planit Services Inc. From 2002 to 2002, Karin served as a Full Time Visiting Lecturer in Computer Information Systems at Indiana University NW. Karin then became a Consultant for Second Harvest International from 1998 to 2004.

In 2005, Karin joined Merkle, initially as a Marketing Analyst before becoming a Solution Manager. During their time at Merkle, they conducted data analysis, managed client relationships, implemented changes, and identified solution improvements.

Karin then moved on to SCA Direct, where they worked as a Senior Data Administrator. In this role, they oversaw database maintenance, managed a small team of DBAs, designed and built databases, and developed time-saving tools.

From 2012 to 2015, Karin worked at Best Friends Animal Society as a Senior Manager of Development Operations. Karin led the integrated management team, provided strategic direction, and oversaw the maintenance of the organization's fundraising database system.

Following that, Karin joined the University of Cincinnati as the Director of Philanthropic Data Management for a brief period in 2019.

Currently, Karin is employed at RKD Group, initially starting as the Senior Director of Data Management and Strategy before transitioning to their current role as the Vice President of Analytics Operations in 2023.

Karin B. attended East High for their high school education. Karin then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with International Relations at the University of Minnesota from 1990 to 1995. Following that, they completed a post-graduate Internship in London at Boston University in 1995-1996. Later, from 1996 to 1998, Karin earned a Master of Public Affairs degree with a focus on Nonprofit Management from the Indiana University School of Education - Indianapolis.
