Hans Wijgergangs is a seasoned conservator with extensive experience in the field of art history, specializing in modern art from the Netherlands and Belgium. Since July 2002, Hans has held multiple roles at RKD - Nederlands Instituut voor Kunstgeschiedenis, including conservator and positions focused on communication, development, registration, and documentation. Prior to this, experience includes registrarial duties at Historisch Museum Rotterdam, involvement in digital historical information processing at Universiteit Leiden, and research on modern paintings at Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. Hans has also contributed to art history education through various teaching positions and workshops. Academic qualifications include a Doctorandus degree in art history and a Master's degree from Leiden University.
