Julie Morita

Julie Morita serves as the Executive Vice President at Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, overseeing all programming, policy, research, and communications activities. Prior to this role, Morita served as the Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Public Health where Julie led the development of Healthy Chicago 2.0. Julie also served as the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director at the department. Morita's experience also includes working at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an EIS Officer, leading outbreak investigations and responses. In their earlier career, Morita worked as a Pediatrician at Group Health Medical Associates, providing primary care to pediatric patients. Morita holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
