Ashley F. Kim, Ph.D., is a Senior UX Researcher at Robinhood, focusing on the Core Retirement Team since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior UX Researcher at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where user research was designed and conducted in collaboration with stakeholders. Ashley's academic background features a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from Vanderbilt University and various roles at Vanderbilt, including leading research on film and genetic privacy, and investigating digital technology user experiences in fertility health. Additional experience encompasses teaching and curriculum development in diversity and inclusion, research fellowship roles, and educational roles at Trevecca Nazarene University and Metro Nashville Public Schools, among others.
