Scott Wheaton is the current Director of Growth & Brand Partnerships at Robinhood. Prior to their current position, Scott served as the Director of Partnerships & Business Development at Stash from December 2018 to September 2020. In this role, they were responsible for partnering with some of the biggest names in the financial industry to help Stash reach its goal of making saving and investing accessible to everyone.
Before joining Stash, Scott was the Director Of Partnerships at Social Native from February 2018 to December 2018. In this role, they successfully grew and managed a team of partnerships professionals while also increasing Social Native’s customer base.
Scott began their career in marketing and sales at Betaworks in January 2010, where they consulted on marketing and communications strategies for the company. Scott then joined The 7th Chamber as VP of Sales in July 2011 and helped the company grow its customer base and increase sales.
In January 2016, Scott joined Speakr as a Client Partnership Manager. In this role, they successfully negotiated and managed relationships with some of the biggest brands in the world, including Coca-Cola, Nike, and Samsung.
Most recently, Scott served as Director of Partnerships at Plastiq from December 2020 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for partnering with some of the biggest names in the financial industry to help Plastiq reach its goal of making saving and investing accessible to everyone.
