Jayme Powell

Jayme Powell is an experienced professional in education and employment, currently serving as the Director of Education and Employment at Rocket Community Fund since September 2016, where previous roles included Senior Project Manager and Project Manager. Jayme's background includes serving as an Education Policy Fellow at the Institute for Educational Leadership from August 2017 to June 2018, co-founding Youth Advancement Through Athletics from January 2011 to November 2017, and working as the Prevention/PBIS Coordinator for the Detroit Youth Violence Prevention Initiative from May 2014 to January 2016. Additionally, Jayme was an Adjunct Instructor for the Adolescent Diversion Project at Michigan State University from August 2011 to May 2012. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, both earned at Michigan State University between 2008 and 2014.
