Darian Shump

Darian Shump is an experienced recruiter and educator with a diverse background in higher education and corporate services. Currently serving as an Associate Recruiter at Rocket Science Group since January 2024, Darian has taken ownership of the recruiting pipeline, collaborating with Hiring Managers to enhance hiring processes and optimize the candidate database. Previously, as an Administrative Coordinator at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Darian focused on student support, event planning, and community outreach. Educational experience includes serving as an Instructor of Record at Florida State University, delivering lectures and managing courses, following a role as a Teaching Assistant. Prior experience includes working as a Client Service Specialist at Cogency Global Inc., where Darian specialized in corporate document drafting and compliance. Darian holds a Master of Arts in East Asian Languages and Cultures and a Master of Arts in Religion from Florida State University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in History/Religious Studies from Stetson University.
