Scott Riddell

Scott Riddell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2008, they worked as an English Language Assistant at the Commission Scolaire des Appalaches. In 2010, they ventured into media-related roles, working as a Broadcast Journalist at the 'fax and as a Freelance Writer and Videographer at Scott Riddell Media Works, where they directed, shot, and edited videos and undertook commercial video production.

In 2011, Riddell took on the role of Contributing Writer at unews.ca, where they researched and wrote news articles for the web. Simultaneously, they worked as a Creative Director at Bizview Ltd., where they directed, shot, and edited commercial videos, as well as engaged in web and graphic design, copywriting, and marketing strategy development for small and medium-sized businesses.

Riddell also gained experience as an Intern at Frantic Films in 2011. In 2013, they joined Bold Commerce and held various roles, including Marketing and Communications and Product Manager, where they focused on corporate communications, media requests, press releases, product management, UX design, and marketing for different projects.

From 2016 to 2020, Riddell served as the VP Product and Operations and later as a Product Manager at Koble Inc., where they provided expertise in product development, operations, and management.

Most recently, Riddell joined RocketRez in 2021 as the Marketing Director, overseeing marketing strategies and initiatives for the company.

Scott Riddell attended The University of Winnipeg from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time there, their studies focused on Linguistics, Rhetoric, Writing and Communications, Psychology, and the Social Sciences. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of King's College from 2010 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree. Their studies at King's College specialized in Print, Web, Broadcast, and TV Documentary.
