Rachel Salatin

Director Of Community Development at Rockingham County, VA

Rachel Salatin's work experience begins in 2012, where they worked as a Manager at The Happy Cook until 2014. Rachel then moved on to become the Membership Coordinator at the Artisans Center of Virginia from 2013 to 2015. Following this, Rachel became the Executive Director at Beverley Street Studio School from an unknown start date until 2018. In 2019, they joined the Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission as the Agritourism Coordinator & Marketing Manager. Rachel's most recent role is as the Deputy Director of Community Development at Rockingham County, VA, starting in November 2021.

Rachel Salatin studied Interior Design at The Art Institutes, specializing in Art, Architecture, and Design. Rachel completed this program in 2008. Concurrently, from 2006 to 2008, Rachel pursued a degree in Business Management & Administration at Blue Ridge Community College. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained LEAD certification from the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service at the University of Virginia in November 2022.
