Thomas Burton

Thomas Burton has a diverse work experience in the banking industry spanning over three decades. Thomas is currently serving as the First Vice President at The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod since July 2019. Prior to this role, they held the position of First Vice President - Commercial Banking at Rockland Trust from March 2014 onwards. From March 2011 to March 2014, Thomas worked as the SVP Commercial Officer at Commerce Bank & Trust Company. Before joining Commerce Bank, they were employed at Citizens Bank as a VP Relationship Manager from November 2007 to March 2011. Thomas also served as a VP-Relationship Manager at KeyBank from February 2005 to November 2007. Thomas'sbanking career began in Texas where they worked as a Commercial Loan Officer and Cash Management Specialist at Meridian Bank. Thomas later held the position of Commercial Officer VP Business Development at Vermont National Bank. Thomas' tenure at Meridian Bank, Vermont National Bank, and Mascoma Savings lasted from 1990 to 2004.

Thomas Burton has a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Business from Plymouth State University. Thomas also attended Strake Jesuit College Preparatory for high school.
