Marc Verville has extensive work experience in software quality assurance and testing. Marc currently works as a Senior Software QA Engineer at Rockport Networks, where they are responsible for manual and automated testing of a new server network interface card for High Performance Computing environments. Marc'smain areas of testing focus on data path protocol, data latency, and throughput. In this role, Marc analyzes requirements, develops and executes testcases, raises and retests bugs, and reviews technical customer documentation.
Before joining Rockport Networks, Marc worked at Verville Tech Inc. from 2015 to 2021. Here, they served as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer and held various responsibilities. Marc was the test lead for the implementation of the IFRS17 reporting standard for the EDC Finance group. Marc also led the TM1 QA group, responsible for QA planning and testing of IBM TM1/Planning Analytics applications and IBM Cognos BI reports for the Corporate Finance team. Marc provided support to business clients for User Acceptance Testing, performed performance and functional testing of applications for financial reporting and automation, and conducted integration testing of TM1 with financial and insurance source systems.
Prior to Verville Tech Inc., Marc worked as a Performance Test Engineer at BackOffice Associates from 2014 to 2015. In this role, they focused on automated performance testing, specifically on Canada Post web services, web pages, and client applications. Marc developed Jython scripts to run performance load tests within The Grinder load testing framework, testing REST and SOAP web services and desktop client applications.
Marc's earlier experience includes working at March Networks as a Verification Engineer from 2007 to 2014.
Marc Verville pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lakehead University, which they successfully completed in 1989.
