Ben Fisher has a wealth of experience in the technology and eCommerce industries. Ben began their career in 2006 as President of the Ad Club at UNC-Chapel Hill, where they achieved the highest meeting attendance in the club's 25-year history. In 2009, they founded Urban Pre-game, the first online service to let you pre-buy bar drinks from your smartphone or computer. Ben also served as Shopify Expert and Fractional CTO to eCommerce brands at SKINNY&bald that same year. In 2010, Ben co-founded Lean Startup Machine, a weekend bootcamp that teaches Lean Startup methodologies, which operates in more than 30 cities across 5 continents. In 2011, they co-founded Alchemy, a tool for communities to help themselves, which was used by co-working spaces around the world. In 2015, Ben co-founded CartHook, which enabled online retailers to build optimized checkout funnels with the world's first one-page checkout with one-click post-purchase upsells. Ben also served as CTO and Head of Product. In 2019, Ben co-founded 1-Click Pony. Most recently, in 2021, Ben co-founded Rodeo, a consumer-centric subscription platform for challenger CPG brands on Shopify.
Ben Fisher attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they earned a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication (Advertising sequence) with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
