Sylvie De Haes

Sylvie De Haes has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Their most recent position is as an Investment Portfolio Manager at Rodschinson Investment, where they began in November 2022. Prior to that, in February 2022, they co-founded Explore The City.

Before transitioning into the investment industry, Sylvie worked as an SBD specialist at HP for two years, from May 2020 to November 2022. Sylvie also has experience in transcription, having worked at TransPerfect from January 2020 to May 2020, and at LocTeam from January 2019 to September 2019.

In 2004, Sylvie (co)founded Culinaire Wandelingen and served as its general manager until March 2022. Their responsibilities included event planning and organization, client acquisition and management, financial tasks, and partner negotiations.

Sylvie has also held various other roles throughout their career, including Key Account Manager at Doniger Fashion Group from August 2016 to February 2018, freelance financial manager at El Tercer Ojo & O' Sheas restaurants from February 2008 to June 2012, and audit consultant at Verschelden & Parnters (now More Stephens) from June 2004 to January 2006. Additionally, they managed a building and renting project in Nicaragua from February 2006 to June 2012 as a private project.

Sylvie De Haes has a diverse educational background. From 1991 to 1994, they attended the HandelsHogeSchool Antwerp, which is now part of the University of Leuven. There, they pursued first-cycle degree courses in Commercial Sciences. Following this, they enrolled at the lbc - National Federation for Administrative Personnel from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Graduaat (diploma of higher education) in Business Organisation. In 2003, Sylvie joined the University of Gent and completed a Post University degree (Master) in the principals of law as a forensic. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Gent, although the exact timeframe for this degree is unknown.
