About the Role

Join the ROLLER Product & Tech team as our newest Quality Assurance Analyst and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our cutting-edge product. You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers and Developers to prepare new applications, feature enhancements and bug fixes. Your meticulous attention to detail and passion for continuous improvement will drive both manual and automated testing processes, ensuring our platform remains robust and user-friendly.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with functional disciplines across the Product Team to design testing scopes, and execute them in preparation for new applications, feature enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Conduct manual feature testing, regression testing, exploratory testing and user acceptance testing
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases and supportive documentation that will drive both manual and automated testing
  • Provide analysis and constructive feedback on new platform changes and requirements
  • Analyse trends in test results to identify and report on developer and QA performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our QA testing strategies

About You

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A meticulous, curious and detail-oriented mindset
  • A passion for understanding complex systems and developing as a Subject Matter Expert, with a supportive interest in teaching others
  • Takes pride in authoring logical, clear documentation and issue statements that are well articulated
  • Thorough understanding of the challenges presented by testing complex, high-performing and high-quality cloud-based web and mobile applications
  • Excellent understanding of cross-browser and compatibility testing and when to use it
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and release management

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Jira
  • Familiarity with TestRail or other test management systems
  • Demonstrated experience in testing payment terminal systems
  • Demonstrated experience in testing REST APIs using tools like Postman
  • Have any experience in C# and an interest in test automation with tools such as Cucumber, Selenium and NUnit
