Ian MacKlin

Ian Macklin has an extensive career in engineering, primarily at Rolls-Royce, where tenure spans from September 1990 to present. Currently serving as the Engineering Lead for Verification and Validation, Ian has also held roles such as Chief Project Engineer and Chief Development and Service Engineer for Marine Gas Turbines. Prior experience includes a position as a Performance Engineer at Eurojet from January 2000 to December 2002. Ian's early career at Rolls-Royce involved graduate training and work on the EJ200 fuel system and RTM322 performance. Educational qualifications include a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southampton, obtained between 1987 and 1990, following attendance at Woodlands School in Allestree, Derby from 1980 to 1987.
