Dr. Lisa A. DeRoché

Dr. Lisa A. DeRoché has an extensive work experience in various leadership positions in the field of Human Resources and Organizational Development. Dr. Lisa A. is currently the Chief People & Equity Officer at the Roosevelt Institute, where they shape the culture of a team working to strengthen democracy through progressive research. In this role, they provide strategic direction for the Human Resources/Operations team and focuses on strengthening HR systems and processes.

Prior to their current role, Dr. DeRoché served as a Board Member and Chair at Girls Inc. of Long Island, where they worked to develop the whole girl through mentoring relationships and research-based programming. Dr. Lisa A. also held the position of Chief People Officer at Ascend Public Charter Schools, where they led the HR and Talent department and focused on strengthening HR capabilities to support organizational performance and transformation.

Dr. DeRoché has also worked as the Vice President of Human Resources at JCCA, where they led the HR department for a large residential child welfare facility. Dr. Lisa A. acted as a liaison with the labor union and partnered with executive and senior leadership teams on personal development and team effectiveness. Earlier in their career, Dr. DeRoché served as the Vice President of Human Resources & Culture at Brightpoint Health, where they developed and implemented HR policies and strategies to support the organization's growth plans. Dr. Lisa A. also held the role of Director & Leader of the HR Business Partner Team at Fidelis Care, where they improved leadership capability and implemented HR programs and initiatives.

Dr. DeRoché's experience also includes a senior director role at AXA Equitable, where they led HR and development initiatives for the Wealth Management Group. Dr. Lisa A. played a key role in recruitment and integration planning. Prior to that, they worked as a supervisor in reservations at Tower Airlines.

Throughout their career, Dr. Lisa A. DeRoché has demonstrated expertise in areas such as diversity and inclusion, performance management, employee relations, change management, and leadership development.

Dr. Lisa A. DeRoché holds a Ph.D. in Business Management with a specialization in Human Resources from Capella University. Dr. Lisa A. also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from Dowling College. Dr. Lisa A.'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from the State University of New York at Old Westbury and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from North Carolina Technical Comm. Additionally, Dr. DeRoché has pursued studies in Psychology at Virginia State University. Dr. Lisa A. also possesses a certification in HR Generalist from SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management), although the year and month of obtaining the certification are not specified.
