Emily DiVito has a diverse range of work experience. Emily most recently worked at the Roosevelt Institute as a Sr. Program Manager, Corporate Power since September 2020. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Columbia University, including Graduate Reader in Macroeconomics for International and Public Affairs, SIPA Capstone Workshop Consultancy for The New York Women's Foundation, and Graduate Teaching Assistant for Quantitative Analysis II. Emily also worked as a Policy Research Intern at NYC City Council in 2019. In previous years, Emily worked as a Special Assistant to the Co-Founder at The Progressive Change Campaign Committee, Field Director at Jennifer Webb for HD69, Field Organizer at Bernie 2016, Deputy Field Organizer at Bernie 2016, Student Ambassador at Team IMPACT, Inc., Political Research Intern at the Campaign for America's Future, Legislative Intern at the Office of Bill Nelson (D-Fla.), U.S. Senate, and Campus Organizing Intern at Elizabeth Warren for Senate.

Emily DiVito earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in American Studies from Wellesley College, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, they cross-registered at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a brief period in 2015. Emily then pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at Columbia University from 2018 to 2020, with a focus on Urban and Social Policy, as well as Gender and Public Policy.
