Madeline Paulsen

Madeline Paulsen has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Data Migration Engineer at Rooted Software since 2023. Previously, they worked at The Wesleyan Church as the Director of Donor Services and Assistant Director of Development, where they oversaw data management, customer service, and donor relations. Before that, they were a Senior Customer Support Analyst at Blackbaud, assisting customers with software support issues. As a Customer Support Specialist at At Home Group Inc., they managed a team and acted as the key customer service contact. Madeline also has experience working as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University and as an Administrative Assistant at The George Washington University - School of Business. Madeline was a Development Intern at Peace Corps, and an Intern at the Smithsonian Institution, where they were responsible for research support and managing documents.

Madeline Paulsen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geological Sciences from The George Washington University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In 2017, they attended the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Philanthropic Fundraising in 2019.

Additionally, Madeline has obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2017, they obtained the Blackbaud Certified Blackbaud eTapestry Fundamentals certification from Blackbaud. In 2019, they received the Blackbaud Certified Raiser's Edge NXT Professional certification from the same institution. In 2020, they obtained the Blackbaud Certified Blackbaud Luminate Online Fundamentals certification. In 2021, they gained the Scrum Alliance Certified Product Owner certification.

Most recently, in 2023, Madeline obtained several certifications. Madeline received the Virtuous Administrator Certification, Virtuous Finance Certification, Virtuous Fundraiser Certification, and Virtuous Marketing Certification from Virtuous. Madeline also obtained the Alteryx Designer Core Certification, as well as the Alteryx Foundation Micro-Credential, from Alteryx.
