Jason Shamdas

Jason Shamdas is currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Rosewood Hotel Group since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills from November 2018 to October 2022 and as a Secondee - Legal Counsel at Alibaba Group from July 2020 to July 2021. Additionally, Jason held Associate positions at Deacons from December 2016 to November 2018 and Clifford Chance from August 2014 to December 2016, where Jason also completed a Trainee Solicitor role. Jason earned a Juris Doctor in Law from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2011-2013) and a Master’s Degree in History with Chinese Language and Literature from The University of Edinburgh (2007-2011).
