Jeewaranga Gunasekera

Jeewaranga (Jeev) Gunasekera is a highly experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Community Health and Engagement Officer for the NHS East Sussex Wheelchair Service. With a diverse background that includes project management at the Ministry of Health in Sri Lanka and extensive roles in community medicine, Gunasekera has led significant health communication initiatives, coordinated national health programs, and engaged with key health organizations like UNICEF and WHO. An accomplished lecturer in visual communication and a former family physician, Gunasekera possesses a comprehensive educational foundation in medicine and public health from the University of Colombo, complemented by additional studies in disaster management and music.
