Louis Savard

Louis Savard has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Louis is currently working at Ross Video as the Manager of Large Switchers and Technical Product Manager for Acuity Switchers since 2020. Prior to this, from 2010 to 2020, Louis worked at L3Harris Technologies as a Software Development Manager. In this role, they managed the software development of multi-million-dollar contract solutions, led a team of up to 30+ software developers, and oversaw the development of products for both domestic and international markets.

Before joining L3Harris Technologies, Louis worked at Harris Corporation as a Software Engineer from 2008 to 2010. Louis also held the position of President at OIQ Outaouais, a non-profit organization representing over 1800+ engineers, from 2006 to 2010. During this time, they managed the budget and represented the executive committee with the OIQ. Prior to that, Louis served as the Communications Director at OIQ Outaouais from 2003 to 2006, where they oversaw the publication of quarterly publications and maintained the organization's website.

Louis began their career at Mitel Networks as a Software Engineer from 2001 to 2008. Overall, Louis Savard has a diverse range of experience in software development, product management, and leadership roles.

Louis Savard earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières from 1993-1996. Louis then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi from 1997-2001. Additionally, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Université du Québec en Outaouais from 2009-2011.
