Richard Joudoin

Richard Joudoin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Richard most recently worked at Ross Video as an International Trade Compliance Specialist. Prior to that, they had a significant tenure at Canopy Growth Corporation, where they held multiple roles including Security Technical Support, Security Services Coordinator, and Compliance Officer. At Canopy Growth, they were responsible for managing physical security systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing training procedures.

Before joining Canopy Growth, Richard worked as a Rehabilitation Worker at Lanark Leeds and Grenville Mental Health and Addictions, providing support to clients with mental health and addiction issues. Richard also worked at the Toronto Transit Commission as a Provincial Offence Officer, inspecting fare media and responding to medical and emergency calls.

Richard has previous experience as a Security Officer at Paragon Security, where they conducted daily patrols, enforced legislative requirements, and responded to emergencies. Additionally, they worked at Kennedy House Youth Services as a Bailiff, providing transportation services and support to youth in conflict with the law.

Richard Joudoin attended South Grenville District High School from 2007 to 2011. Richard then pursued their higher education at Ontario Tech University, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminology and Justice in 2016. In terms of additional certifications, Richard obtained certifications in IP Networking and IP Camera Fundamentals from IPVM in July 2021 and March 2021, respectively.
