Michelle Velasquez Pulido

Michelle Velasquez Pulido is currently the VP of People at Rothy's. Prior to their current position, Michelle was with PeopleTech Partners, Minted, and Walmart.com. At Minted, they were the Sr. Director of Human Resources and was responsible for leading a team of human resource professionals to support a workforce of over 350 employees. Michelle supported the leadership team in scaling headcount by over 70% in three years to deliver consistent revenue growth, market expansion and profitability.

Walmart.com was their next stop where they became the Director/Strategic Business Partner. In this role, they worked closely with leaders to develop and implement talent programs and processes for the fastest growing division of Walmart. As the Director of Human Resources at Design Within Reach, they were responsible for all aspects of the human resources function.

Her first HR role was as a Staffing Manager at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. where they managed all aspects of the staffing function.

Michelle has over 20 years of experience in human resources and has been extremely successful in every role they have taken on. Michelle is a strategic thinker who is able to develop creative solutions to complex problems. Michelle is an excellent communicator and has a proven track record of building strong relationships with their clients.

Michelle Velasquez Pulido holds a BS in Human Development from the University of California, Davis.
