Shelley Chen is currently a Sales & Trading Analyst at CIBC Capital Markets, specializing in Global Credit Financing since May 2024. Previous experience includes a Sales & Trading Analyst role at Scotiabank, focused on Prime Services, as well as financial analysis at the University of Toronto. Shelley holds various leadership positions in the Rotman Commerce Entrepreneurship Organization, serving as Vice President, Director of Finance, and Corporate Relations Manager. Additional roles include Director of Finance for the Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, Vice President Finance for the National Panhellenic Conference Inc., and internships in finance and accounts payable at Recipe Unlimited Corporation. Shelley has entrepreneurial experience as a Startup Mentor with Gifted and Talented Silicon Valley Innovators and has attended a competitive business incubator program backed by Stanford and UC Berkeley. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics with a focus in Data Science at the University of Toronto, Shelley also has plans for further education at HKU Business School.
