Muhammad Hafiz has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and research fields. Muhammad started their career as a Research and Development Intern at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory in 2014, where they gained valuable experience in research and development activities. In 2018, they interned as a Research Intern at Quintech Life Sciences, further enhancing their research skills.

In 2020, Muhammad worked as an API Manufacturing Operations Intern at Amgen, where they gained practical knowledge in manufacturing operations. Muhammad then joined Lonza in 2021 as a Biotechnologist (Downstream), where they performed various downstream operations, such as column chromatography and tangential flow filtration techniques, to purify the final product. Muhammad also operated DeltaV control parameters for chromatography and UF operations, following standard operating procedures and batch records.

Currently, Muhammad is working at RoviSys as an Automation System Engineer, a role they started in 2022.

Muhammad Hafiz completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from the Singapore Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2017 to 2020. Before that, from 2012 to 2015, they earned a Diploma of Education in Molecular Biotechnology with a specialization in Virology and Microbiology from Nanyang Polytechnic.

In addition to their formal education, Muhammad Hafiz obtained certifications in Ifix fundamentals training from Allied Solutions Pte Ltd in July 2022 and in Learning Python from LinkedIn in February 2021.
