Pedro Carneiro

Pedro Carneiro has worked in the software development industry since 2007. Pedro began their career at Telbit as a Software Developer, where they developed and operated a fraud management system for telecom operators. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at ALERT Life Sciences Computing, S.A. as a Software Developer, where they developed and maintained large scoped solutions for computerising all kinds of healthcare facilities. In 2013, they joined Blip.pt as a Senior Backend Developer, where they were the lead developer in the design and maintenance of the Sportsbook core platform. In 2017, they moved to Talkdesk as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed cloud-based web applications in a micro-services architecture environment. Since 2018, they have been working at Rows as a Lead Backend Engineer and Senior Backend Engineer, where they have been responsible for the design and development of features in the platform, as well as initiatives to improve the performance and reliability of the platform.

Pedro Carneiro completed an Undergraduate Programme in Informatics and Computing Engineering at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2002 to 2007. In 2006, they also completed a Computer Software Engineering course at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
