Georges Basmaji

Georges Basmaji has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Georges currently serves as the Executive Director of Engineering at RUA Al Madinah Holding. In their role, they oversee the rehabilitation and expansion of the Rua Al Madinah project, which aims to accommodate 30 million Umrah pilgrims by 2030. Prior to this, Georges held positions at The Red Sea Development Company, where they served as the Senior Director and Director of Engineering. At AECOM, they held various leadership roles, including Director of Buildings & Places and Head of Building Services. Georges also worked as an Associate Director and Principal Electrical Engineer at the company. Before joining AECOM, Georges worked at Bureau d'Etudes et de Surveillances_Kamal J Sioufi as the Head of the Electrical Department and at Chafic Dagher Establishment as a Technical Engineer.

Georges Basmaji earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ESIB, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. Prior to that, they completed their Baccalaureat in Maths at Notre Dame de Louaize from 1973 to 1986.
