Rafi-U-Rehman

Rafi-U-Rehman AP has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Rafi-U-Rehman is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Royal Cyber Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this, Rafi-U-Rehman worked at Implentra as a Senior Software Developer from November 2017 to March 2022.

From October 2012 to October 2017, Rafi-U-Rehman held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Royal Cyber Inc., where they were responsible for architecting enterprise solutions and providing development support on multiple projects using JEE and Spring Framework. Rafi-U-Rehman also had core administration duties for IBM WebSphere Application Server during this time.

Before joining Royal Cyber Inc., Rafi-U-Rehman worked at Abdul Latif Jameel from July 2011 to September 2012 as an HATS/JAVA Developer. In this role, they designed, developed, and deployed the Dealer Order Management System for ALJ, the sole distributor of TOYOTA vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Rafi-U-Rehman began their career as a Software Engineer at Royal Cyber Inc. in July 2006. Rafi-U-Rehman worked on legacy application modernization projects using IBM Rational HATS. Rafi-U-Rehman also led and managed a team of developers and collaborated with IBM to create an advanced HATS training course with hands-on exercise labs.

Additionally, Rafi-U-Rehman gained initial experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Codebase Technologies from April 2006 to June 2006 under the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) Internship Program. Rafi-U-Rehman worked with the Java Struts web application development team during this time.

Rafi-U-Rehman AP attended Mehran University of Engineering and Technology from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Software Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained several in 2017, including "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Thinking Machines," "Become a Project Manager," "Blockchain Basics," "Data Science Foundations: Fundamentals," "Introduction to Data Structures & Algorithms in Java," "Java EE: Web Services," and "Machine Learning & AI Foundations: Recommendations" from LinkedIn. Additionally, they obtained certifications from IBM, such as "IBM Certified Technical Sales Professional (v1) - Rational HATS" in 2011, "IBM Certified Application Developer - Rational Host Access Transformation Services (HATS) v7.1" in 2009, and "IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server, Network Deployment V6.1" in 2009. Lastly, they received the "Sun Certified Programmer for the Java2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0" certification from Sun Microsystems in 2009.
