Rovshan Babashov

Rovshan Babashov is an experienced IT Manager with a strong background in digital development and transport, currently serving at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport since November 2021. Prior to this role, Rovshan held IT management positions at SOCAR Polymer and the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, where significant accomplishments included the implementation of change management practices and IT service management best practices. With experience that spans incident management, configuration and change management, strategic planning, and procurement of IT equipment, Rovshan has a proven track record in optimizing IT operations. Additionally, Rovshan's earlier roles included deputy manager at North West Construction and system and network administration at the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, further showcasing a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure and supply chain management. Rovshan earned a Master's degree in Physics from Baku State University in 1995.
