Rick Lewis

Rick Lewis is a Programme Manager for Science Funding at RSPB since January 2020. Before that, Rick was a Professor in Structural Biology at Newcastle University from April 2003 to December 2019. Rick has been involved in engaging with the public and communicating science, leading research in structural biology, mentoring PhD students, and conducting research as a Reader at Newcastle University. Rick also held positions as a Wellcome Trust Research Career Development Fellow at both University of Oxford and University of York. Rick holds a PhD in Biochemistry from University of Oxford and University of York and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from University of Oxford.
