Islam Elgaafary is an experienced iOS engineer who has held various roles at different companies. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as an iOS Developer at ITGYP, where they participated in the development of an iOS app for Al-Ahly Club in Cairo and developed online shopping iOS apps in KSA. Islam then joined Cammedar in 2019 as a Mobile Engineer, where they developed 3D and augmented reality medical applications and collaborated with ML and computer vision developers. At waysgroup from 2019 to 2020, Elgaafary worked as an iOS Engineer, developing and maintaining a portfolio of 7 successful applications, reducing API integration time, and enhancing user experience with complex animated UI components. From 2020 to 2021, they worked at Smart Angle as an iOS Engineer, focusing on improving media uploading speed and developing a custom full-featured calendar. Elgaafary then joined Zeer in 2021 as a Senior iOS Engineer, where they played a key role in developing and maintaining voice recognition, live streaming, cloud storage, and privacy features using AI and blockchain encryption technologies. Additionally, they achieved a 70% decrease in development time by refactoring project architecture. In 2022, Elgaafary moved on to Qannas as a Senior iOS Engineer. Currently, they are working at Rubikal as an iOS Engineer, contributing to the development and maintenance of the MwaslatMisr iOS app in the New Administrative Capital in Egypt.
Islam Elgaafary attended Alexandria University from 2014 to 2019, where they earned an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering.
