Thomas Moosbrugger

Thomas Moosbrugger has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Thomas served as the Head of Research and Development at Rubner Gruppe from 2011 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a scientific assistant at Technische Universität Graz from 2005 to 2010 and as a scientific employee at holz.bau forschungs gmbh - hbf from 2004 to 2005. In 2010, they also had a brief stint as a scientific employee with an academic degree at holz.bau forschungs gmbh - hbf. In 2018, they became a guest professor at Freie Universität Bozen.

Thomas Moosbrugger has an extensive education history. Thomas obtained their Dr techn. degree in the field of Bauingenieurwissenschaften from Technische Universität Graz from 2005 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in both Konstruktiver Ingenieurbau and Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen-Bauingenieurwissenschaften from the same university, which they completed from 1999 to 2004. Before attending Technische Universität Graz, they studied Tiefbau at Höhere technische Bundeslehranstalt Rankweil from 1992 to 1998.

In addition to their academic achievements, Thomas Moosbrugger has obtained several certifications. Thomas earned the Befähigungsprüfung zum Ziviltechniker nach Ziviltechnikergesetz (ZTG) in 2020 from Kammer der ZiviltechnikerInnen Tirol und Vorarlberg. Thomas also acquired the Befähigungsprüfung zum Holzbau-Meister gemäß Gewerbeordnung 1994 §149, Österreich in 2017 from Wirtschaftskammer Oesterreich. Furthermore, they obtained the Befähigungsprüfung zum Baumeister gemäß Gewerbeordnung 1994 §99, Österreich in 2016, also from Wirtschaftskammer Oesterreich. Finally, they hold the certification of Zertifizierter Seniorprojektmanager nach IPMA (zSPm) awarded by pma - Projekt Management Austria in 2013.
