Guillermo Varela

Guillermo Varela has extensive experience in human resources and management roles. Guillermo is currently serving as the Chief Global Human Resources Officer at Ruhrpumpen. Prior to this, they were the Director of Human Capital at Logrand Entertainment Group, where they focused on process mapping, succession planning, and implementing new labor schemes. Before that, they served as the Director of HR & President of the HEB Foundation at HEB México, where they implemented career development plans and internal trade schools. Guillermo also held the position of HR Director at Grupo Reforma, where they achieved controlled and organized payroll growth and implemented evaluation systems. Additionally, they worked as an HR & General Administration Senior Manager at DENSO, where they implemented Toyota Way practices and operational programs.

Guillermo Varela obtained a Master's degree in Quality Management from the Universidad de Monterrey between 1994 and 1996. In 2005, they pursued an Alta Dirección Program (AD1) at IPADE Business School. Guillermo later obtained a Coaching Certification from Impel in 2013, followed by a Team Coach Certification from the Impel International Coaching Community in 2014-2015.
