Andrea Maki

Andrea Maki (Burns) has a diverse work experience, starting in 2004 as an Analyst at Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Andrea then worked as a Senior Project Coordinator at Carlson Marketing Worldwide until 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they served as a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator at Cubellis, where they played a key role in expanding the international hospitality practice group's revenue. Andrea also volunteered as a Fundraising and Marketing Volunteer at A Woman's Fund from 2009 to 2010.

In 2010, Andrea joined Direct Supply as a Senior Account Manager. Andrea later worked as a Field Account Representative at HD Supply from 2012 to 2015, where they successfully grew their territory and achieved sales growth. In the same year, they became an Account Executive at ProSys Information Systems, focusing on providing IT solutions to clients.

From 2015 to 2023, Andrea held two roles simultaneously. Firstly, they served as a Global Client Executive at World Wide Technology, where they assisted enterprise customers in achieving desired business outcomes through technology solutions. Secondly, they held the position of VP of Service Sales at Rulesware, involved in driving service sales for the company.

Most recently, Andrea's work experience includes being the Director of Scholarships at Women In Technology (WIT), starting in 2023.

Andrea Maki (Burns) earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Andrea further pursued their education by obtaining an MBA degree in Marketing from Concordia University-Wisconsin from 2011 to 2013.
