Brian Sapp

Brian Sapp is the managing director of West Coast Origination at Runway Growth Capital. Brian has held this position since September 2018. Prior to joining Runway Growth Capital, Sapp was a managing director at Hercules Capital, Inc. from July 2014 to September 2018. Sapp has also worked as an investment banker at Robert W. Baird & Co. from November 2011 to June 2014 and at Wedbush Securities from October 2009 to October 2011. Brian was also a director at Thomas Weisel Partners from January 2008 to July 2009. Sapp began their career in 1999 as a vice president at CIBC World Markets and has also held positions at SVB Alliant and Pacific Growth Equities.

Brian Sapp has a MBA in Accounting and Finance from Cornell University - S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
