Project Manager

Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues.
Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
Soft Skills
Qualifications Required:
Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field or 5 years project management experience.
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods, building products, relevant rules, regulations and quality standards are a plus.
Computer proficiency and familiarity with construction management software. MS Projects, MS office, PROCORE are required.
Strong communication, leadership, crisis management, conflict resolution and human resources management skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS - Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English. Communication includes both verbal and written skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with customer’s representatives as well as peers, supervisors and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to perform mathematical operations using calculators or electronic spreadsheets is required.
REASONING ABILITY - Must have above average common sense and the ability to make good/logical decisions.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
Working Conditions: Work is performed mostly indoors and in climate-controlled office environment. Periodic visits to job sites where various conditions can occur.
Ability to walk, often on uneven terrain or scaffolding. Occasionally lift or move materials up to 50 pounds and navigate active construction zones. Sharp vision for reading blueprints, inspecting work quality, and ensuring safety compliance. Good hearing to understand instructions and safety signals, and effective communication skills.
Risk/Safety Conditions: There is little, or no risk related to physical and/or mental health and safety associated with this position.
Physical Activities: Walking, lifting, hearing, seeing up close, seeing far away, talking, standing, finger movement, repetitive motions, depth perception. Depending on position assignment, may frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Sitting for long periods of time, keyboarding, looking at computer screen.
