Frances Smith has had a varied work experience, beginning with a Server role at Blackberry Market in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Camp Counselor at the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, followed by a similar role at the Camping & Education Foundation in 2015. In 2016, they worked as an Arts Contributor and Copy Associate at The Badger Herald. In 2017, they worked as a Fiction Editor at The Madison Review, a Public Relations Intern at Arts + Literature Laboratory, and a Copy Editor Intern at PrairieFire Communications.
