Femke Aarts

Femke Aarts has a diverse work experience in the field of HR and People & Culture. Femke began their career at Rvdb as an HR interim professional, where they fulfilled temporary HR positions at various companies and received training and coaching to develop herself as an HR professional. Femke then worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as an HR Advisor, where they advised managers, managed long-term illness cases, handled operational tasks related to employees, and assisted in recruitment and selection. Femke also gained experience as an HR Project Manager at Glasnost International and as an HR Advisor at Accenture. Femke served as an HR Business Partner and a People & Culture Consultant at different times at Hogeschool Utrecht. Most recently, they worked as a People & Culture lead a.i. at Firely. Prior to their HR roles, Femke worked as an Account Manager at Feeddex, where they assisted clients with customer feedback processes and data analysis.

Femke Aarts has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business administration/Bedrijfskunde/Business management/Bedrijfsmanagement. Femke obtained this degree from the University of Amsterdam, where they studied from 2016 to 2017. Prior to their master's, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2011 to 2015. Their bachelor's degree focused on Human Resource Management and Strategy & Organization. Before university, Femke attended Mendelcollege from 2005 to 2011, where they received a VWO degree in Natuur & gezondheid. Additionally, in May 2015, they obtained a certification in Intensive English Course from EC Brighton, UK.
