Alain van Reyk

Alain van Reyk has extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Alain currently serves as the Head of Finance at Racing and Wagering Western Australia. Prior to this, they worked at Field Capacity as the Strategy and Value Chain professional.

From 2019 to 2021, Alain held two roles at Datacom, starting as the General Manager Finance - Public Sector Australia and New Zealand, and later transitioning to the position of General Manager Finance - Australia.

Before Datacom, Alain worked in Private Equity as the Chief Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer. Alain also gained significant experience as the GM Finance & Business Transformation ANZ at Valspar.

Alain's earlier roles include General Manager Finance Rail at Downer, Commercial Director ANZ at George Weston Foods, and Global Strategy at Gloria Jean's Coffees. Alain began their career at PepsiCo, where they worked in various finance and commercial roles.

Throughout their career, Alain has demonstrated their expertise in finance and has held leadership positions at multiple organizations.

Alain van Reyk obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting and Finance from The University of Western Australia, attending from 1994 to 1997. Subsequently, they pursued their CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification from CPA Australia, completing the program from 1998 to 2001. In 2009, Alain van Reyk undertook a course in Negotiation at Scotwork Australia. Additionally, in 2001, they participated in a program on Project Management offered by Kepner-Tregoe.
