Starting in 1998 as a Social Services Intern at Cooper Green Mercy Health Services, Summer Washington LLC has gained extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 2002, they worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy, followed by a position as a Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens from 2003 to 2008. From 2008 to 2018, Summer served as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the US Army. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Executive VP Marketing at myEcon Inc, where they worked until 2018. Summer also worked as a Consultant at Beautycounter from 2018 to 2021. From 2017 to 2018, they held roles as Chief Steward and Union Representative at AFGE. Summer joined RxBenefits, Inc. in 2019 and took on positions such as Member Service Representative and later Supervisor, Coverage Determination until 2021. Summer currently serves as the Business Owner at their own company, Summer Washington LLC, which they established in 2022.

Summer W. completed their high school education at Woodlawn Magnet High School, earning a diploma in 1995. Summer then pursued further education at Stillman College from 1996 to 1998, majoring in Sociology. Prior to their enrollment at Stillman College, Summer attended Fort Hamilton High School from 1991 to 1993, where they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In terms of additional certifications, Summer obtained a Usui Reiki Master certification from Usui Reiki Ryôhô in November 2020.
