Osama F. Alowedi

Osama F. Alowedi, CFA has an extensive work experience in the financial industry. Osama is currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer at SAB Invest since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Assets Management Committee Member at The Capital Market Institutions Committee in 2021.

In the past, Osama has worked as the Chief Investment Officer & Head of Asset Management at HSBC Saudi Arabia in 2022. Osama also co-founded Value Capital Partners in 2018, where they served as the CEO and CIO until 2022.

Before Value Capital Partners, Osama worked as the Head of Investment Management at GIB Capital in 2017-2018 and as the Managing Director, Head of Capital Market Investments at ALRAJHI ALPHA INVESTMENTS from 2013 to 2017.

From 2008 to 2013, Osama worked at SNB Capital, where they held multiple roles including Senior Portfolio Manager, Portfolio Manager, and Equity Research Analyst. Prior to that, they worked in structured credit investments at Samba Financial Group from 2005 to 2008.

Osama's career in the financial industry started with an internship at Citi in 2004. Overall, Osama has demonstrated a strong expertise and leadership in investment management throughout their career.

Osama holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Columbia Business School, where they graduated with Dean's Honors. Additionally, they obtained another MBA degree from London Business School, specializing in an undisclosed field of study. Osama further expanded their knowledge in the field of finance by earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Global Banking & Finance from Regent's University London. Osama is also a Chartered Financial Analyst, holding the prestigious designation awarded by the CFA Institute. Completing their undergraduate studies, Osama obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management from Webster University.
