Güler Sabanci

Güler Sabancı, who has held various senior positions in Sabancı Group companies throughout her career, has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sabancı Holding, one of the most prestigious groups in Turkey, since 2004. Güler Sabancı is also the Founding Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Sabancı University, the Chairman of the Sakıp Sabancı Museum, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hacı Ömer Sabancı Foundation, one of Turkey's leading foundations. Sabancı is an active industrialist, art lover and one of the leading names in the business world, as well as being shown among the strongest women in the region with her pioneering work for girls and women. Güler Sabancı, among them David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award, Clinton Global Citizenship, Raymond Georis is the recipient of many awards, including the Innovative Philanthropist and the Responsible Leadership Award from the European School of Management and Technology. Güler Sabancı is the first female member of many organizations she is a member of, such as the European Roundtable of Industrialists. Sabancı also serves on the International Advisory Board of the MIT Energy Initiative and on the Advisory Board of Columbia Business School.
