Born in Birmingham in 1967, Gonca Artunkal completed her high school education at Robert College and graduated from the Department of Economics at Oglethorpe University. She received her master's degree from the London School of Economics and her MBA from Boğaziçi University. Saime Gonca Artunkal, who started her career at Andersen Consulting's London office in 1991, worked in investment banking and corporate finance fields at the London and Istanbul offices of The Chase Manhattan Bank, Morgan Stanley, Citi, Societe Generale and UBS, respectively. He served as the Turkey CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Artunkal currently advises leading domestic and foreign companies on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance and corporate governance.
