Naveen K.

Naveen K. has worked as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Credera, where they excelled in extracting and transforming raw data into business insights, and resolved complex entity resolution problems. Naveen also worked as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of Houston, where they developed efficient algorithms for Joint NMR Inversion and Blind Source Separation, and taught Linear Algebra, Inverse Modeling, and Bayesian Learning. Naveen K. also worked as an R&D Intern at Halliburton, where they developed a Microsoft Azure microservice for fluid-flow upscaling. Currently, they are a Data Scientist at Sabanto, contributing to the development of sophisticated self-driving algorithms and enhancing safety and efficiency of automated tractors through computer vision and sensor fusion techniques.

Naveen K. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Petrochemical Technology from Anna University in 2014. Naveen then pursued and completed a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering (Computational Science & Machine Learning) from the University of Houston in 2017. In 2020, they received a MicroMasters degree in Statistics and Data Science from MITx Courses. Naveen then pursued and completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Petroleum Engineering (Machine Learning Research) from the University of Houston from 2017 to 2021. Naveen is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from Quantic School of Business and Technology, with an expected completion year of 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Naveen has obtained multiple certifications, including courses in Data Visualization with Python, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Machine Learning. Naveen has also completed courses in Improving Deep Neural Networks, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects from deeplearning.ai, as well as Data Analysis for Social Scientists from MITx on edX.
