Arabinda Mahato started working at Tata Steel in 2016 as a Summer Intern. After completing their internship, they joined Tata Steel as a Management Trainee Technical in June 2017, and they continued in this role until May 2018. From June 2018 to September 2019, they served as a Manager Operations(Excavation) and successfully implemented Wenco Fleet Management System, conducted data analysis to reduce diesel consumption, enhanced fleet run hours, and incorporated predictive maintenance for machine availability. In October 2019, they transitioned to the role of Manager Drilling & Blasting until March 2020. Lastly, they worked as the Manager Development and Service from April 2020 until April 2022. In 2022, they joined SafeAI, Inc. as an Operations Manager.

Arabinda Mahato completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. Arabinda pursued this degree from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their AISSCE (All India Senior School Certificate Examination) from Kendriya Vidayalaya C.R.P.F Durgapur, specializing in Science. This qualification was achieved between 2010 and 2012.
