Russel Magaya has extensive experience in IT security and management, holding current positions as Group IT Security & Infrastructure Architecture Manager and General Manager of Information Technology at Safeguard Security Services since October 2018, and as a Senior Consultant at Izwi Technologies since January 2018, focusing on cyber security and managed IT services. Previous roles include Group Information Services Manager at Deloitte and IT Manager at Safeguard Security Services. Russel's educational background includes a CDT Doctoral Training in Cyber Security from the University of Oxford, a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of Plymouth, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, also from the University of Plymouth. Additional qualifications include a Higher Diploma and Diploma in Management Information Systems from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
