Andy Garside

Andy Garside has extensive experience in the field of Information Technology. Andy most recently served as the Head of Information Technology at Igne, where they developed and implemented a complex IT strategy to integrate multiple acquired companies into one entity. Andy also created and managed the Business Analyst function and established a secure new Microsoft Tenant. Prior to this, Andy held the same position at SafeLane Global, where they oversaw the IT department. Andy also served as the Global Information Technology Manager at GDS Group, managing a team of technical engineers and deploying a cloud-only strategy. Before that, Andy worked as the Head of Operations at Maximise IT Solutions, where they developed and delivered a cloud-first IT strategy. Andy has also held various managerial roles at Solsoft Group, Simplisys Service Desk, HP, Bank of Ireland, and IBM Global Services, where they gained expertise in infrastructure, service management, and technical support.

Andy Garside attended the University of Bristol in 1994, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they attended Princess Marina College, where they pursued Avionics Maintenance Technology/Technician. Additionally, Andy obtained a certification in "DEV276x: Learn to Program in Java" from edX in 2020.
