Stefan Lackner

Stefan Lackner is the current General Manager at SafeSplash Swim Schools. Stefan has also previously worked as the Event Coordinator at University of Louisville Athletics, Recruiting Coordinator for Swimming and Diving Team at Delta State University, and SafeSplash SwimLabs Louisville.

Lackner has always been interested in swimming and giving back to the community. Stefan got their start working with events when they were the Event Coordinator at University of Louisville Athletics. There, they ideated and executed all aspects of the event for 16 international Olympic swimmers, including sponsorships; brand and marketing; social media content; event logistics; and volunteer recruitment and training. Lackner was able to create, led, and execute events that generated more professional opportunities for swimmers while simultaneously giving back to the community. The event series raised $225,000 over three years from 13 local and national corporate sponsors.

After their time at University of Louisville Athletics, Lackner became the Recruiting Coordinator for Swimming and Diving Team at Delta State University. There, they were responsible for all aspects of recruiting for the team. Stefan helped increase participation in the sport of swimming and lower drowning rates in Louisville.

In their current position as General Manager at SafeSplash Swim Schools, Lackner is responsible for managing all aspects of the business. Stefan oversees the operations, marketing, sales, human resources, and finance departments. Stefan Lackner has a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Delta State University. Stefan also has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Delta State University.
